Our family visited the restaurant on Mother's Day and have to say we couldn't fault anything.
The food was fantastic, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Every single dish tasted absolutely superb.
The service was 2nd to none, it was a laid back friendly atmosphere with all the staff being attentive without intruding.
This was our 1st visit to the restaurant but we'll definitely be back and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Absolutely brilliant lunch, excellent service and amazing value for money - couldn’t recommend Next Chapter enough!
A friend and I had a lovely lunch here recently. It didn’t disappoint. Absolutely loved it. The food was superb and the portions are all excellent. Highly recommend the seafood - all of the dishes. The mussels came in a lovely tomatoey white wine sauce, which makes a welcome change to the standard creamy, or pale white wine sauces traditionally used. Everything was beautifully presented, and the fish was cooked to perfection: it fell apart and the slightly salty skin was lovely and crispy. Everything is cooked from scratch, so a lot of the menu is naturally gluten free. Prices are reasonable, considering the cost of living issue at the moment - the pan fried sea bream in particular reflected the increase in the price of fish.
We had an excellent waitress called Grace who was so lovely, and attentive.
It was our first time at the restaurant, which is housed in a lovely old Victorian building up on the nice green hillside of Bridge of Allan, and next to the tennis club in a quiet leafy residential area.
It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the terrace, and watched families and young children playing on the spic and span wooden slide and climbing frame, nestled on a perfect large lawn, which also has tables and parasols.
Will definitely be back. Lovely atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it. Very relaxing.
